Doncaster Rovers completed a perfect Irish pre-season tour with a 2-0 victory over Linfield at Windsor Park. The win extended the club's unbeaten record to three consecutive victories, following a 4-2 triumph over St Patrick's Athletic in Dublin and a 5-0 victory at Glenavon.
Goals secure comfortable victory
Bayley McCann and Alfie May scored first-half goals to secure the result. McCann opened the scoring within seven minutes after collecting a long ball from Jack Senior, while May added the second on 22 minutes by converting a rebound after Owen Bailey's shot was saved.
Rovers dominated the opening period, though Linfield grew into the match as the half progressed, creating chances through Ethan McGee and Adam Frizzell. In the second half, Linfield continued searching for a goal, but Rovers held firm to maintain their advantage until the final whistle.

Manager Grant McCann's focus now turns to a double-header on Saturday 25 July. Two separate squads will face Harrogate Town at The Marcy Fitness Stadium (12pm) and Gainsborough Trinity at the KAL Group Stadium (4pm).
