Doncaster Rovers have confirmed that defender Bobby Faulkner has joined League Two side Tranmere Rovers on a season-long loan deal. The move includes a mid-season break clause.
Faulkner's Path at Doncaster
The 17-year-old prospect is Doncaster-born and came through Club Doncaster Sports College before earning a professional contract. He made his senior debut for Rovers in the 2022/23 season during a 1-0 league win over Northampton Town and went on to make 22 appearances that season.
Faulkner signed a new one-year contract with Rovers in 2025 with an option for an additional 12 months, which was activated this summer.
Recent Experience
Most recently, Faulkner spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Harrogate Town, where he made 26 appearances in all competitions.
