London Broncos have won the Championship Grand Final, defeating Doncaster with 14 tries at Cherry Red Records Stadium. The result completes a second-tier treble for the dominant side.
Broncos finished the regular season with 23 wins and one defeat from 24 games to claim the League Leaders' Shield. They then won two play-off matches, including one against Doncaster, to earn home advantage for the final.
In the Grand Final, Broncos ran in 14 tries against Doncaster, who finished fourth in the regular season table. James Meadows scored two tries and kicked six goals. Neil Tchamambe, Elliot Wallis and Brandon Webster-Mansfield each claimed two tries. Hawkins, Mathias, Havili, Webster-Mansfield, O'Beirne, Voro and Bitungane also scored for Broncos. Voro added four goals and Smith one goal.
Doncaster scored one try through Johnson, with Robinson kicking one goal.
Record-breaking margin
The winning margin was the biggest ever in a Championship Grand Final, surpassing the 36-point record set by Featherstone in 2011 and Wakefield in 2024.
This was the second trophy of the season for Broncos. They had already won the 1895 Cup in August, beating Widnes Vikings 32-10 in that final.
Broncos have now beaten Doncaster four times this season in league and cup meetings.
Super League promotion ruled out
Winning the Championship does not automatically lead to Super League promotion. Top-flight places are instead decided by club gradings based on on-field and off-field criteria. Broncos applied for a spot in the 2026 Super League but were unsuccessful — York and Toulouse were awarded the two available places.
