Doncaster Rovers has reaffirmed its commitment to the Rovers Promise ahead of the 2026/27 season. The pledge sets out the club's commitment to delivering the best possible experience for everyone who visits Club Doncaster Sports Village, both on and off the pitch.
While the club cannot control results, it will make every effort to ensure supporters have a welcoming, enjoyable and positive experience away from the playing surface.
A Welcome for Everyone
The Rovers Promise is a commitment to making the stadium accessible and comfortable for all. Whether visitors have supported Rovers for generations or are attending for the first time, the club says everyone is welcome at Club Doncaster Sports Village.
Young supporters making their home debut can meet Donny Dog to mark the occasion, and their name will be displayed on the big screen at half-time. The club is committed to identifying and removing barriers that prevent people from becoming part of Rovers.
New Inclusive Facilities
Ahead of the new season, Doncaster Rovers will introduce a combined sensory and multi-faith space within the stadium. Rainbow Rovers, a dedicated LGBTQ+ supporters group, was launched earlier this year as part of the club's inclusivity drive.
Creating an inclusive environment is central to the club's work. Everyone should feel comfortable at Club Doncaster Sports Village, regardless of background, disability, gender, religion or sexuality.
Fan Engagement Recognition
Club Doncaster Foundation's In Rovers We Trust Fan Engagement Strategy is another key part of the Rovers Promise. Rovers was ranked fourth out of 116 clubs in the annual Fan Engagement Index.
Listening and Taking Responsibility
The club has committed to listening, taking responsibility and working to put things right when expectations have not been met. Togetherness and compassion are among the club's key values.
