A man has been left with serious injuries after being bitten by a dog at Doncaster Pride on Town Field, Thorne Road, on 8 August.

The man approached the dog's owner and asked to stroke the animal. The owner agreed, but the dog, thought to be a Carpathian Shepherd called Bonnie, bit the victim's arm causing serious injuries.

Police Appeal

South Yorkshire Police has appealed for the dog owner to contact them. She is described as a woman in her 30s with dark brown hair, who was wearing a white top and pink hat at the time of the incident.
